Viña Pomal Garnacha Viura Rose Spanish Pink Wine 750 ml, VINAPOMALROSE

SPECIFICATIONS

Viña Pomal Rosé is made using the “saignée” method. Once the grapes enter the winery they are destemmed and crushed in the traditional manner, after which they are poured into a tank where they undergo light cold maceration for at least 12 hours. When the must attains the desired colour it is “bled”, which consists of separating the free run juice from the skins. The must is then fermented at a controlled temperature of 14 ºC to preserve the wine’s aromas and freshness.
Grown on vineyards located in the Upper Rioja, a zone influenced by the Atlantic with poor mixed soils of a specific texture. Under such conditions, the Grenache and Viura varietals, the Rioja’s traditional rosé varietals, evolve optimally rendering a rosé wine of a unique colour with a characteristic acidity that adds freshness and youthfulness plus varietal nuances that make it expressive and give it a long finish.

COLOR:
Bright shade rosa palo.

NOSE:
Subtle, with hints of strawberry, raspberry, flowers of violet and spicy (anise, chamomile).

TASTE:
Input structured and creamy, which adds length. The acidity of this wine makes it fresh and balanced structure in the mouth.
