SPECIFICATIONS

The "Rich" name first appeared in Maison Veuve Clicquot's archives in 1876 to refer to wines destined for the United Kingdom, distinguishing them from "dry" wines. In 1995, Jacques Péters recreated a Vintage Rich based on the 1988 Vintage, which at the time was sweetened with a "dosage" (mixture of sugar and Champagne wine) of 35 g/L. Produced only during exceptional years, Vintage Rich fascinated the gastronomic world and inspired the richest and most creative flavor combinations. After a smooth, supple attack on the palate, Vintage Rich 2004 is remarkably full-bodied, supported by the strength of the pinot noir, with aromas of ripe fruit and pastries. The perfectly balanced liqueuring gives a silky, creamy texture in the mouth, while the Finish is fresh and long-lasting.
